Green and Gold Braaibroodjies
This braaibroodjie has been enjoyed by the likes of Jenny Morris and even won our team a weekend away in Camps Bay! To create this champion’s sandwich, layer our Tapenade, thinly sliced beef biltong, camembert and green fig preserve (the green) on fresh white bread. Drizzle some of Willow Creek’s Nuy Valley Extra Virgin Olive Oil (the gold) over the bread and braai until golden brown and gooey on the inside
Toast pita bread in the toaster until light brown. This allows the pocket to form easily for filling. Spread the inside of the crusty pocket with our Tapenade and fill with a mixture of roasted chicken pieces, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, feta and mayonnaise.
Leg of Lamb
Complete a Sunday roast with leg of lamb that has been crusted with our Tapenade and baked until deliciously moist and tender. The savoury Tapenade complements the rich red meat flavours very well.
