The 2023 TerraOlivo IOOC bestowed Willow Creek Olive Estate’s Estate Blend Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a Grand Prestige Gold award and their Directors’ Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a Prestige Gold award.
EVOO of the year 2022
Willow Creek Olive Estate has been awarded the prize of EVOO of the Year 2022 by the EVOO World Ranking. Last year, Willow Creek Olive Estate ranked 227th in the World Ranking Extra Virgin Olive Oils Competition. This year, however, Willow Creek Olive Estate placed 121st!
Only extra virgin olive oils that exceed 160 points are awarded the EVOO of the Year prize. The results of this competition are calculated based on a worldwide survey of companies that participate in global EVOO competitions. What an achievement!
TerraOlivo IOOC (International Olive Oil Competition)
Willow Creek Olive Estate participated in the TerraOlivo IOOC International Olive Oil Competition and was awarded a Grand Prestige Gold and Top 10 award for their Director’s Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a Grand Prestige Gold award for their Estate Blend Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a Presitage Gold for the Nuy Valley Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
London IOOC (International Olive Oil Competition)
Willow Creek Olive Estate participated in the London Quality Awards for Extra Virgin Olive Oil and was awarded Gold Awards for their Estate Blend Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the Directors’ Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
The L’Orciolo d’Oro Awards
The L’Orciolo d’Oro Awards are the hosts of the oldest Extra Virgin Olive Oil competition worldwide. The 2021 awards received 5,000 entries and tasted over 14,000 oils. Both the Estate’s Directors’ Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Estate Blend Extra Virgin Olive Oil obtained distinctions under the medium fruit category.

Flos Olei
We are proud to announce that Willow Creek Olive Estate has been selected for the Guide Flos Olei 2022! Flos Olei offers the first international guide to the best extra virgin olive oils in the world, realised in three languages, namely Italian, English, and Chinese. Willow Creek Olive Estate was selected out of 967 olive oil brands to be part of this esteemed guide.

Willow Creek Olive Estate GLITTERS IN GOLD at the Athena International Olive Oil Competition with two more gold awards. We were the only South African olive oil producers to receive this honour! Willow Creek Directors’ Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil and our Willow Creek Estate Blend Extra Virgin Olive Oil won gold awards.
