Four Gold Awards at the SA Olive Awards 2025
It’s more than just olive oil to us; it’s an invitation to elevate everyday moments with quality and convenience.
The SA Olive Awards were created to honour the South African olive oil industry. The competition only accepts entries for Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) produced in the current season. Entries must be 100% South African and made by South African producers registered with SA Olive. The entries can be either entered by individual producers or by retailers selling EVOO from South African producers as their house brands.
The SA Olive Awards continue to be the highlight of the South African olive industry’s calendar. It acknowledges the hard work and striving for excellence of local EVOO producers. A panel of expert tasters congregates in Stellenbosch to judge CTC-certified oils and award the gold, silver or bronze stamps of excellence. Consumer confidence is the key to building a strong industry; the SA Olive Awards (and the CTC) focus on maintaining the quality promise to consumers.
