Our Frantoio Single Cultivar Extra Virgin Olive Oil is one of three single cultivar extra virgin olive oil products that Willow Creek Olive Estate launched in 2021. This unique EVOO is made using only Frantoio olives, which is an Italian olive variety originally hailing from the Tuscany region. We are extremely proud of the fact that our Frantoio Single Cultivar Extra Virgin Olive Oil has won multiple local awards since its launch.

FRANTOIO SINGLE CULTIVAR EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

The Frantoio cultivar can be picked when the olives are green, half-ripe, or fully ripe. Originally from Italy, Frantoio olives produce an intense extra virgin olive oil that boasts bold, fruity flavours with a peppery aftertaste.

This extra virgin olive oil, like all our other EVOO products, is cold extracted meaning that the oil is extracted through centrifugation of the olive paste at a temperature below 27 °C. This ensures that all of the oil's nutrients, antioxidants and other beneficial compounds are preserved and guarantees that its unique gastronomic and organoleptic properties remain unaltered.

Our Frantoio Single Cultivar Extra Virgin Olive Oil complements rich foods that share its intense flavour and can be generously used when cooking and marinating red meat. Alternatively, it can be drizzled over fish and salads.
